its just this standard thing everyone has to do in the country every now and then.
ok now why was the person i was having an interview trying to make small talk? he made it so awkward. its beneficial for both him and me to just not make small talk and make the interview as quick and as simple as possible. i know that he's being fake and doing it because he has to vice versa. furthermore its his JOB he could have double the lunch time and twice the energy if he didnt make small talk.
he said what did u get up to during lockdown expecting and talkin about some f1 driver as if im meant to know who he is and as if me or him actually care or would've remembered this convo.
whats more sociopathic? me answering the questions with 1 word to end the convosation as soon as possible to move on and makin everything awkward but not caring or him putting on a fake smile and voice and pretty much literally putting on a mask its honestly frightening.
if its a job interview then obviously u gotta make small talk to get to know ur employee but if its standard proecedure stuff just get it over with and dont waste ur time blud.
