me and my family celebrate christmas on the 24th and its usually a whole bunch of us every year. This year my mom and the whole side of her family decided to go to dubai to celebrate there, so my mom basically left me and my dad for a month because there wasnt enough money for 2 more plane tickets. My dad doesnt have good relations with his family because his parents left him when he was a child then randomly came back so they cant go. This christmas it was only me, my dad, and my sister who moved out years ago and doesnt have good relations with my dad aswell, so it was basically just a dysfunctional family having a decent dinner for 30 minutes and worst of all, NO PRESENTS TILL FEBRUARY because thats when my mom is coming back with gifts
