About a month and a half ago I started lisdexamfetamine dimesylate (brand name vyvanse) after consulting with a psychiatrist for my inattentive ADHD. At the time I was slightly overweight, fluctuating between 165-168 pounds on a daily basis. I had started at 20mg, but developed a pretty strong tolerance and over the span of this month-ish I've raised the dosage substantially, I'm now taking 50mg. I already wanted to lose weight as I was unsatisfied with the appearance of my body and my bloated face. With the medicine comes appetite suppression as vyvanse is also prescribed to those with binge-eating disorder, (which i believe I also have) and I have ended up losing 20 pounds. My face AND body look much better and I'm sitting at 146 pounds right now, still healthy for my height (5'10). My main worry is how badly this is going to impact my growth, (as a 15 year old still in growth) and what would be a better way to maintain the body and face I have right now while staying properly nourished? The main reason I take the stimulant is my inability to focus in school, I was thinking I would stop taking it frequently over the summer and opt for doing a lot of cardio instead.
(also, due to my lack of nutrition, I have been supplementing necessary micronutrients. I take a "for him" multi-vitamin and additionally k2, d3, calcium, magnesium, and zinc)
