Just injected aqualyx into malar fat pad

I just finished my second session of pinning aqualyx into the malar fat pads

big malar fat pad looks bad , especially when drooping down .You don't want to it to be visible. Mines not even bad, the existance just pisses me off.

Probably a bit more than 4 months ago.
Did 5 injections each side, 0,05ml each, 3 right above and along nasolabial fold, 2 over that.
Was retarded and used nail clipper to rip vial open. Didn't really know what I was doing, pretty much just following a thread from here.
Noticable swelling lasted ~6 days,
no real results noticable.
So that's why second session today.

So today I went 9 × 0,05 ml on each side, 3 along right above nasolabial fold, 4 parrallel above them, a little below the middle of the fat pad and 2 where I thought there wasn't much before.
My anatomy is a little different of course but semething like that. Usually I've seen people do 4 each, so 9 should be a alot.
Pain not bad imo just hurts for ~30sec when and right after injecting
Did this at midnight , took ~1,5-2h.
Swelling probably going to be really bad this time. Will say I'm sick or tried to squeeze pimples in the area.

I think only if you had really alot of fat there to begin with, then dissolving all of it might cause skin sagging because of the volume lost. But in general more fat in that area should age you worse than having little/none because gravity constantly pulls it over the nasolabial fold.

why would you inject into malar fat pads those help with your midface projection, that is exactly where you should avoid when pinning aqualyx. when doctors treat volume loss they add filler into those areas

I don't think that is the type of projection you want, they just look bulgy, droop, create really unpleasant contours and nasolabial folds. Also there typically isn't any volume lost, just big fat pad drooping down, so it appears as if there was volume lost along the nasolabial fold but it's actually volume from above bulging if that makes sense. That's why they inject into the nasolabial fold to "level the volume" and typically not actually into the malar. A lean midface and small malar fat pad is much more aesthetic for the most part. (Moreso in males)

I think its drooping in the woman because of tissue laxity from aging, thats why she has nasolobial folds not excess fat. plus she has a lot of lower cheek fat that blends the seperation between the malar fat and the lower cheek fat. i'm not sure but I've always avoided pinning medially or higher up just in case

Sure that's part of it, however it would not be drooping as much if the fat pad there would be smaller. Having more fat there just worsenes the aging process. Also alot of people have nasolabial folds or the contouring caused by malar size/protrusion and gravitys effect on it essentially from birth because of bad malars. Maybe in some cases volume in that area can be beneficial for percieved midface projection, but only if no naso folds are caused, gives a youthful look. But this almost only works well for women imo

I think that's quite unlikely unless you fuck up, The malar and infaorbital fat pads are separated, which is also why when it droops down and pushes over the malar it creates the nasojungal line. And lets say that small amounts would migrate to the infraorbital it would only be a tiny amount amount and not dissolve essentially any especially because even when targeting fat pads qith aqualyx you need multiple sessions for visible results. So I don't think that's something to worry about tbh

thank you, me too. If you mean by dissolve most of the fat there by making a dent I've heard that aswell. If I remember correctly @chadisbeingmade did like a dozend sessions. But some say they see good results after 2-4 sessions. I'm really hoping this fucking works this time because every session carries risk and I currently have a numb purple spot from a pin and I'm praying it's nothing serious and resolves itself and you get crazy bloat for like a week and of course costs money and effort
