There’s something deeply fascinating about the kind of person who frequents IncelTears. Not fascinating like an artist or philosopher no, more like watching someone proudly eat glue and declare it a five-course meal. The entire premise of the subreddit is, 'Let’s dedicate our precious, finite existence to pointing and laughing at the people already at rock bottom.' Truly, a noble endeavor.

It’s almost impressive how they’ve managed to craft an identity around feeling superior to strangers who are, by every conceivable metric, suffering. These people don’t want to help. They don't want to understand. They don't even want to argue intelligently. They just want to drag their own unremarkable lives one step higher by stomping on someone else’s skull. Like emotional grave robbers, they sift through the wreckage of broken men just to find something ugly enough to screenshot and laugh about.

And they paint themselves as the enlightened ones, the ‘normal’ ones, the 'mentally healthy' saviors of humanity. Meanwhile, they’re spending hours obsessively harvesting quotes from obscure corners of the internet to post for imaginary internet points. How many 'winning' individuals do you know who dedicate their free time to documenting the sadness of strangers? I'll wait.

At some point, you have to wonder: if you're scrolling through forums of people you allegedly don't care about, feeling joy at their misery, and building a whole online identity around it… who really needs the therapy here?

In the end, IncelTears isn’t a movement or a cause. It's a glorified digital freakshow, maintained by the bitter and the bored, for an audience of people desperate to feel morally superior without actually doing anything useful with their lives. It’s the internet equivalent of poking a caged animal and laughing when it bites.
