Sounds scary and miserable as fuck though being reincarnated from top-of-the-world Chad to a curry.

I just think it’s quite possible. Seems more plausible than the idea of heaven and hell.

Not only is it not possible, the idea doesn't even make sense, like a square circle. It's utterly meaningless. Just think through the various transporter thought experiments in order to correct your conception of yourself, and then you'll see why reincarnation makes no sense.

Reincarnation is a trap jfl

its controlled by reptilians and other demons/extradimensional entities

Not sure I understood what you’re saying but aren’t “you” just a series of electrical signals in the brain processing its surroundings. Surely “you” don’t exist and something else that is alive will be born and go through the same process you did.

Reincarnation theory is healthy because it makes you realise how lucky you are to be human. Odds are you'd come back as a Peruvian donkey, not a Chad, so make the most of what you've got.

Yeah, but in what way would that thing that's born be me?

Legit make the most of what you have or you might be stuck as something much worse for 80 years with no awareness.

I don’t see why you couldn’t become something else when you die. It’s not like you have any memory left, all it is is another life form experiencing things and thinking it has an identity. It’s not you changing bodies, it’s something else being born and thinking it’s you.

When I die and there's no more memories there's nothing left that can become something else. There's no soul or anything like that. What makes you you is your identity, your memories, the continuum of content between all the moments of your life, and your body. Without those there's no you. I can't be something that doesn't have those things. It's like saying "maybe my computer will reincarnate into another computer when it breaks." There's no computer soul that can reincarnate into another computer.

It requires an ethereal part of being such as soul or spirit to exist.

I wouldnt be able to deny spirits existence. I I wouldnt be able to affirm it either.

Computer is not the same as a living being. I believe humans at the minimum emit energy.

It doesn't make sense, if humans have reincarnated since the start, how would they remember the life they started out with? How are we remembering this life if we're supposed to reincarnate into another?

True. If we die and lose our memories, then why do we remember the present. Thread is officially cope now.

Maybe this is our first life before reincarnation, so that's why we remember it

Yeah, but if you think through the teleporter paradox you can see the exact mistake people are making that leads to them believing in the existence of a soul, and once you grasp that the concept comes from a mistake and that there's no need for a soul to explain anything, it becomes far less likely that such a thing exists.

Like, let's say right now we switch souls for a few seconds. Of course, it's my body and brain that remember things, not my soul, so when my soul comes back into my body I'm not going to remember experiencing your life. Actually, I'm going to remember the few seconds that you experienced as me and think that I experienced them. So it's not actually what our souls experience that explains the apparent persistence of ourselves throughout our lives, but our memory.

You could even take it further. What if my soul experienced a second of each of person on Earth's life before coming to rest in this body? From my perspective right now, there'd be no differnce between that scenario and if my soul had been in this body the entire time because in either case, it would seem as though I were in this body the entire time because I remember being in this body and having this life. It's all about what you remember, not what your "soul" experiences.

Like, let's assume the only reason people believe in god is to explain how life came to exist (it's not, but let's assume it is). It might seem like a legit possibility, but once you come up with evolution as an explanation, the likelihood that god exists becomes much much smaller.

Fuck man idk. I don’t think that would change the logic of the argument.

It has nothing to do with being a computer. You have to actually read it.

I understand what you say. The identity that we know ourselves to have is majorly and nearly enterely based on brain.

Your spirit wouldnt know its you in another body yh. Just like now you dont know if u were smth else. If it exists we are not to have memories in the phisycal plane. Pperhaps in the astral. Who knows...

You will be reincarnated as a 4'11 curry with down syndrome that starts balding at 11. But you will still be high IQ enough to know the life you missed out on.

Watch the Egg video on YouTube from those German Youtubers, they make good animated scientific videos

you can’t debunk an observed fact with a though experiment lmao just think through the various experiments in science you could debunk with your imagination and you’ll see why that makes no sense

Although im no chad. This thought was what stopped me from attempting my last sui attempt. I hate my life right now for sure but I’ll never want to be in a lower position than I already currently am
