I took my dog out for a dog, he's very handsome and always gets complimented by people I come across. I passed by these 3 jb's and one of them said "look at that dog, he's so cute". Then I said "thanks, no need to call me a dog though". And they started laughing like crazy. Haha am I funny guys? Haha. I think dance monkey theory might be legit.

Yeah usually when you pull some ironic “don’t demean me cause I’m ugly lol” jokes they will laugh even harder if you’re actually fucking ugly. “Omg no that’s so mean” they’re all thinking it, they can’t contain it.

Normal because I had always thought of making that joke because people always say that when i walk my dog and I wanted to pull that on some young girl that said it and it only happened now haha

I mean normal as in I sort of already had that planned and didn't make some witty joke off the top of my head on the spot so it didn't feel that special haha. But it was nice in the sense you're referring to yes. But it's a situation in which pretty much anyone else would've had the same reaction so it's not like it was ioi laughter or anything.
