btw what do you think about AOB malocclusion, how does jaw surgery (posterior impaction) affect face, what does the maloc. do to the midface?

well it really depends on the severity of the open bite. it can be fixed with screws. but if severe enough they cut it and graft it down

Downgrafting makes no sense. Its an anterior open bite - which results in a vertical longer face.

you do posterior impaction and create a cw rotation. You lessen vertical excess theoretically. Then you advance.



Real question is how this changes nose and if it‘s an looksmax or not
