So as the title suggests i just scheduled a mole removal surgery for next week. However the doctor told me the surgery will be performed with scalpel excision, i read on google that laser removal is better in terms of not leaving a scar. Does anyone have a personal experience and make a recommendation about which one is better? I dont want a scar on my face or at least i want to minimize it as much as possible

laser cant remove a mole tf u on about

It depends if you have one big mole or lots of small ones.

For a big one scalpel is kind of the only option. For small ones there are several ways to remove them. Either with scalpel, laser or electrocautery machine. Any of them can leave scars.

no no the doctor actually told me that my moles are at the top of my skin's surface so the scarring will be minimum,i only needed some small stitches that i took out after a week, but i had to clean the wound daily with betadine and cotton ( i dont know if thats what you call it)
