Not nearly as good of an roi, the elliptical machine is unironically the best machine you should use for running. I have been running for over 5 years now and done every machine as well ran outside during the lockdown. The other added benefit of running on a ellpitical machine is that you are not dealing with the friction when you push your feet off the ground making you less sore the next day meaning you can just run 7 times a week and melt your weight.
