until a gas engineer came over today

and he was a normie

just striking up small talk

telling me everything about his life

and i was so quiet

just stood there awkwardly stuttering

my mind couldn’t think properly and i didn’t really know what to say

he was engaging me in it

asking questions about myself

but i was so inept that i think i came off as uninterested or dull

so he just yapped off about his own life until he eventually left

needless to say

i failed in that interaction
