According this research on modafinil and ritalin (methylphenidate), using modafinil improved player’s results by 15 percent, while methylphenidate improved results by 13 percent. But also test subjects playing more slowly.
Unfortunately both banned here cause a lot of students were using it to enchance their performance and you can't buy without prescription.
