comic book art in general in movies like spiderverse tend to exaggerate the proportions of certain characters, i really like the way they made kingpin so big and it doesn’t feel out of place cause of the art style

i kinda feel like that kind of visual storytelling is one of the biggest strengths of animation because the designs can reflect the character’s personality and presence rather than being limited by real human proportions

i wish more studios that wanna adapt comics used it in general

i don’t know how they’re gonna go forward after the second movie though
