Just spotted wild Cannabis by the side of a road

Was going on my usual runs this morning. Haven't gone for a run in some time and while coming back home. I smelled some funky smell coming from the side. I went closer and it was the unmistakable smell of cannabis. And it's leaves had that weed smell too. I didn't know cannabis grows randomly like this or was it planted by someone

Happens a lot of times in Indian Villages where they grow unkempt .
