Just started learning Danish

Very easy and intuitive for English speakers. Easy to predict their equivalents in English.

Skal = shall

Mange = many

Lidt = little

Møde = meet



Not as easy as German though. Especially the pronounciation.

All other nordic countries make fun of the danes for their disgusting, uncultured language. We usually joke about how it sounds like they have a potato stuck in their throat. Danish is so subhuman that kids in Denmark learn how to speak much later in life in comparison to other countires due to how vile their language is.

We're much closer to norwegian but yes still somewhat. A swede can probably catch up about 40% of what danes are talking about.
