Suggested dosage is 200mg, I just took a fat scoop of 4800-5000mg, dropped it in a glass of warm water, and chugged that shit

I think I will be fine, but should I throw up or nah?

If you were to take 5000mg of rhodiola rosea in a single dose, you may experience the following potential side effects:

  1. Gastrointestinal Issues: High doses of rhodiola rosea may cause stomach upset, nausea, diarrhea, or other digestive problems.
  2. Insomnia: Rhodiola rosea is sometimes used to combat fatigue, but at extremely high doses, it may have stimulant-like effects and lead to difficulty sleeping.
  3. Jitters and Restlessness: Some individuals may experience feelings of restlessness or nervousness when taking high doses.
  4. Rapid Heartbeat: High doses of rhodiola rosea might increase heart rate, which can be uncomfortable or concerning for some individuals.
  5. Headaches: Headaches have been reported as a side effect of high doses of rhodiola.
  6. Blood Pressure Changes: Rhodiola rosea may affect blood pressure, and high doses could potentially lead to significant changes in blood pressure levels.
  7. Allergic Reactions: Although rare, some people may be allergic to rhodiola rosea, and taking a high dose could increase the risk of an allergic reaction.
It's important to consult with a healthcare professional before taking any dietary supplement, especially at high doses. They can provide guidance on appropriate dosages, potential interactions with other medications or conditions you may have, and help you make informed decisions about the use of rhodiola rosea or any other herbal supplement. Taking excessive amounts of any supplement can be harmful, and it's generally recommended to stick to the recommended dosages provided by the manufacturer or healthcare provider.
