genes are weird its not just dad mom genes. If you take a plant that is short but had a tall short gene ( in humans its basically where one parent is tall and the other is short ) there is a chance ( very small ) that the new plant is going to be tall. So if your granddad had insane height and if your grandmom was short and your dad came out as short, there is a very small chance that you could be tall

Genetics decide your potential, and in practical terms, where someone isn't chewmaxxing for 3 hours daily since prepubescence, environment will decide how close you get to that.

My sister had a worse environment than me (severe allergies), never ate hard foods, etc. but she still has my dad's top-tier lower third and cheekbones
