first half of the film is fantasic but starts to drop off when brad pitt and edward norton start recruiting. the dialogue and ideas are really good.

i already knew the spoiler about him being tyler durden but i assumed it was gonna be revealed at the end with a huge cathartic payoff with where is your mind playing. was kinda disappointed how anticlimactic the reveal was and then the rest of the film was kinda meh like they didnt know how to end it when he found out

not going to lie, i thought the movie was shit the first time i watched and changed my opinion over the years based on what people told me.

the reason why fight club is so huge is because of the reveal. not many movies can intelligently deceive you like that the usual suspects was the only other film that had as much of a payoff.

you pretty much soiled the movie for yourself by knowing the payoff before you even saw it.
