I read about them recently massacring one of the other ethnic groups that live there. It was a free for all where entire families got together to kill, rape and loot. Seems the vestiges of mongol savagery still survives among them.

As a kid I was obsessed with Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan for some reason, maybe I just loved mountains
