King Leopold never killed 10 million Africans during his reign, when he came gained rule over the Congo, he freed MANY African slaves that had been held there by arab slave traders, many of which left to go back to their homes, this caused a famine due to the lack of free labour, which resulted in 1-2 million dead, these 2 factors are the main factors why the Congo's population decreased after Leopold took control, also, the Belgians didn't chop their hands off, most of the time when someone committed a crime like stealing it would usually be either another Congolese or a Arab trying to enforce the old laws that had been in place before the Belgians took ownership of the areas, for some this is sad news, that Leopold wasn't a -10 million

, hence his name. Adam Hochschild took the chance to produce anti White Belgian propaganda in his book, "King Leopold's ghost". The jews see the the white race as their enemy, which would explain why he even decided to make the book, and since there was such little discussion of the Congo, he probably saw it as a great opportunity to twist the events in the Congo to frame the Belgians. by making it a book he knew idiots would believe it without a second thought.
