klotho protein has been explodin on tt how it can prevent blindness, but it doesnt only thing it can do is lower phosphate levels by FGF23 signaling does lower phosphate specifically by making the kidney excrete more of it in urine and raise vitamin D levels there isnt any studies how it can prevent blindness. and even when taking erda it cant lower phosphate levels because erda blocks fgfr including fgfr1 in the kidney. long story short it over
