Ive honestly heard kosher meat and halal meat are good buys and way better for you than getting it at a store thoughts?

i work as a butcher part time, the halal meat and the regular meat are identical 0 difference whats so over, we dont do kosher meat so idk, also make sure the place has a halal meat certificate lmao

Normal meat processors kill their animals with a stun gun so that the animal doesn't feel any pain. Halal/Kosher slaughter doesn't allow this, and the animal dies after bleeding out from having their jugular cut open. If anything, that makes the meat taste worse because the animal releases stress hormones into their flesh before they die.

It's only better than the lowest quality meats, because halal/kosher needs to follow a more specific regimen, so it's less likely that it's gonna be from a cheap facility that cuts corners.

Otherwise, you're better off buying normal to high-quality meats from your local store or farm.
