It's like when older gay people complain about Gen Z queers and NBs because they didn't have to grow up in a restrictive environment that wasn't even aware of these things and that they "take it for granted".
Transmedicalists in particular are a good example of this envy because today "passing" is not even a requirement and being trans just became a free-for-all with all kinds of freaks.
