demon slayer is far from a perfect anime, however I am enjoying it a lot and the movie Mugen train is the best anime movie ever created by man. The earnings and animation on the movie are surreal. But the main star of the film is Rengoku.
Not only is his design very interesting but his behavior and arc is amazing. No matter how many tragedies he has endured, friends and family killed he always keeps a smile on his face and fills those around him with positivity.
Even with is left eye shattered and ribs broken he refused to surrender to a demon. Protecting his friends to his last breath.
he truly did set his heart ablaze. The flame hashira died smiling, knowing that he had lived a wonderful though short life. His mother assuring him he made her proud. Also Rengoku stated it was an honor to be born from her.
the man showed nothing but positivity and courage but also refused to compromise on his beliefs or surrender to sorrow. This is what a real man is. Definitely one of my favorite anime characters and I think one of the most well written in the anime currently. Thoughts?
