Clickbait title. Not really. Anyways story time, you can DNR this if you want, idrc.
When I was 14 (During prime Sigma), I met this 17 year old Jewish American guy through the userphone bot on Discord (basically Omegle but on Discord). After chatting for a few days, he started opening up and venting. He was very lonely and suicidal. I was probably his only friend at the time. He kept saying that he was going to kill himself by joining the army after graduating high school and turning 18.
I didn't do much to comfort him, I mostly just listened to him, but that was enough for him to fall in love with me. One day, he told me that he wasn't gay, but that I was cute for a boy, which made him feel some type of way. I never showed him my face so he was describing my personality. He was one of the first people to call me cute bruh (I keep track because I'm socially regressed). I just thanked him and moved on. I didn't really like the dude because he was depressing and a bore, so I asked my friends whether or not I should change my Discord status to something like "Battle with Leukemia: Day 19" and eventually just ghost him. They said that it was too harsh, so I just ended up cutting him off silently. He didn't bother adding me back as a friend afterward.
Looking back, I feel a little bad. He was so alone that he most likely ended up confusing whatever little affection I gave him with romantic love. Poor dude, I hope he's doing well right now.
