What languages are you learning and what do you want to learn

I’d say im b1 in french
English is my first language but i want to expand my vocabulary when it comes to technical terms

I want to learn russian and arabic, maybe spanish aswell

Spanish, I spent 3 months in latin america, spent a month in a only spanish speaking household, only hangout with locals, yet my spansih is still trash

I have become fluent in English as a preteen, by teaching myself, since I assumed it was more important than bs that we learned in school.
And Im currently A2 in Italian, and I accidentally have become C1 in Spanish, just by watching some YouTube videos for a few years and talking to some Spics on Discord.

Its on my list to learn but there aren’t that many resources
Mandarin is better documented

Mandarin is way more useful. You can generally speak with just about anyone from mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong with Mandarin. You can also speak with tons of Malaysians and Singaporeans.

Japanese is extremely complicated to learn compared to other languages that have a lot of years of studying and documentation put into learning resources

Mandarin is way more useful. You can generally speak with just about anyone from mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong with Mandarin. You can also speak with tons of Malaysians and Singaporeans.

100% theres also so much professional leverage you can get in specialized fields knowing mandarin, I would like to learn it, the style/writing is so different from english and french
overall theres a lot I could stand to learn and gain from learning it but it’s between
Russian
Chinese
And arabic
These would all be incredibly hard to learn so I’m picking one out of these three to prioritize as my 3rd language
4th (if my brain can muster to even get there) will probably be arabic

for japanese the learning never stops, I continue to learn new words all the time, though maintenance at this point
I dedicated a good 4-5 hours a day during my peak autism for over a year
with this experience I bet I can knock out a romance language in half a year if I had enough time
perhaps if I become unemployed
