It is brutally OVER for your social life if you cannot speak the language that most people in your area speak

You will forever be seen as an outsider, an alien who will never fit into groups

Being chad or not has little relevance here, because how the fuck are they supposed to talk to you and interact if you don't understand what they mean?

I wish I could speak Hindi fluently. In my class everybody interacts with each other in Hindi. The few people that talk in English view me as a dalit because of my skin color.

I would be able to create a decent social group if i was fluent in Hindi :feelswhy:

I disagree, and believe this is subjective. I was born in the U.S. then moved and got raised in NYC. Nowadays, majority of NYC is inhabited by immigrants who don't speak fluent English.

I'm not opposed to immigrants, because the ones I do know are actually tolerable, however I can't connect with them as significantly as my english-speaking friends.

Why should I have to learn a new language to interact with immigrants who dominate the land although this is an english-speaking country?

The issue is that i am the one who feels like an immigrant even though I was born and brought up here just because I wasn't taught to talk in the local language

Yeah that's brutal. Cherish the people around you that do speak English

I don't blame your parents for teaching you English tho, since it's the most spoken language around the world, you'll find success once you move out of your country (assuming you do) while your classmates will struggle.

India is stuck 1000 years behind as a society because they are too focused on language, religion, caste, etc...
