I have a recessed jaw, pretty recessed maxilla, and i have a what i think is a narrow palate. when I talk my tongue touches the front of my teeth and when i mew it touches the side teeth. i have a overbite

i was gonna get braces but insurance didn’t cover it and my mom was like let’s get later

she notices too that my palate looks narrow, or she noticed what comes with it

the thing i’m scared of is that my dentist was ready to give me braces and nothing else, so idk what to do. ik i can get herbert for forward growth, but what abt the maxilla and palate

how do i even get approved for ts. what do i say and what symptoms can i make up that are easy to larp for. i’m 16, idk if it’s too late.

the dentist who checked my teeth to send it to insurance to see if i covered it said i would get “forward” growth with braces so idk. i was a grey so i didn’t really know what the meant

ask for mse and larp by saying shit like "I cant breathe properly, my nose is always congested" snoring, sleep apnea etc. and dw 16 is a good age

herbst pulls your mandible forward if you have a deep bite/overbite, in my situation im getting it because of that. ill also ask for mse+headgear + my braces,but i dont think braces can give you forward growth cus....yknow...its anchored to your teeth
but still you should ask ur ortho
