Will get it in my mid-20s tbh, too many other deformities and subhuman traits to fix first. Just contactmax.

Lasik is stupid, Its a marketing term. There is more than one type of eye surgery, lasik is the worst.

How to deal with dry eyes from contacts??
Don't wear them too much. Once mine get dry and I'm at home I take them out and put glasses on.

Which one is the best?
You need to lookup ALL the different eye surgeries, I cant give my opinion as fact. PRK IMHO is the best, IMHO , but I'm not done researching it. LASIK is quicker because they cut a flap then zap the laser BUT the flap never fully heals. It can become reopened later in life. PRK is longer recovery but it heals better. There is also more than one type of prk.

Can you share your experience. Downsides etc, price and how painful it was.
Cuz my eyes have evolved to the fuckin bat level to not get mental damage from looking at prime foids and chads.

I got LASIK - best money I ever spent. I wasn't 'blind' before, but I couldn't see clearly for more than about 10 metres in front of me. Didn't wanna wear glasses or contacts.

Got it done in Bangkok, cost was 75,000 baht /1,600 GBP at the time (in 2014), not sure what it is now. The procedure itself takes a day - mainly because you need to prepare your eyes with these numbing eyedrops every few hours before they take you into surgery, the actual surgical procedure is like 30 minutes.

The surgery itself isn't painful because you've numbed your eyes by then with the eyedrops. Administering the eyedrops stings a little, but it's nothing that's unmanageable.

You do need to put lubricating eyedrops in each morning and evening post-surgery for several months, but this isn't really a big deal. It doesn't hurt like the numbing eyedrops do. Oh, and just as a warning - directly after the procedure you'll be able to see fine, however a few hours later the anasthetic will wear off and you won't be able to open your eyes or see shit. Those few hours are obviously a bit scary as you're gonna wonder if anything went wrong, even though they tell you this is normal before the surgery. By the next morning you'll be able to open your eyes and see again.

In terms of improved vision, the results are immediate (aside from what I just described above). It's absolutely worth it, IMO. Nearly 5 years on, and my vision is still perfect (tested it last year, still 20/20 vision).

legit scary shit ever, imagine you just go blind like that

If you're too high inhib to do both eyes at once, there's quite a few doctors who will just do one eye. Cost is about 2/3rds of that of 2 eyes, so obviously you're paying a bit of a premium, but at least you can be fully confident you won't go blind (although this is a very very low risk even doing 2 eyes at the same time).

Then I guess if the first procedure went fine, you could do the other eye later. Will cost more money but I guess that's the price to pay for 100% peace of mind.

Get artificial tears. I pretty much have a perma dry eye syndrome because I was wearing contacts improperly. Doctor told me that I should use aritificial tears for the rest of my living life, especially on days when I'm wearing contacts

I chose PRK. Surgery itself didnt hurt with laser. What hurt is when they applied some white shit on my eyeballs. Procedure lasted 20 mins. Recovery time 3 months. Ive sorta seen decently instantly. Ill never forget how I could read an advertisement very far away after coming out of building which I couldnt do even w/ glasses. I just see details better IRL, edges of objects/people's features. My vision is 120% now means that its 20% better than what I had genetically before it getting worse. The 2nd day after surgery was pain all day. It got all blurry, I couldnt see anything while it was hurting so I was just laying on my couch listening to music and auidobooks. Then it gradually got better and better. 3 weeks on I was pretty much seeing like I do now (9 months passed). Ive started using glasses when I was 5 years old and wore them all the way up to 22yrs old. Its a true life changing experience for real. Price was around 1500 USD everything included (post check ups, eye drops etc). Also they have lifetime guarantee meaning if my vision gets bad(in like 10 years or some shit) they perform surgery again free of any cost.

I so badly want to do this. But no money for that atm. I usually always wear contacts but in summer it’s like living hell with the dry air. You can’t enjoy simple things because my eyes always itching fml.

Did it in 2016

Cost me like 5k CDN

Had to get some special laser because only 3 exist in Ontario :lul:

Ya free but the surgery slices another piece of your eye off so you'll end up with even less, and that's assuming you have enough tissue to work with
