Even if England’s youth is good, they won’t win shit. Because it’s not the individual quality of the team that’s lacking, it’s the ability to properly function as a unit that’s lacking. I can’t remember the last time England had a proper world class manager.

In 2018 they had a world class team and choked against Croatia. In 2002-2010 they had a team on par with teams like spain and Germany (in terms of individual quality) but won 0 things in that time period.

while Germany got 2 World Cup bronze medals and 1 World Cup silver medal. Spain won 1 euro and 1 World Cup. All because of Spain and Germany having Top tier managers and World class ability to function as a unit.
