Don't know if the laws are different elsewhere but here you need a doctor's order to get one. Orthodontist says it's not necessary because my bite is good. I assume cosmetic maxfacs can hand them out too but it's kind of backwards first finding a surgeon, scheduling a consultation and only THEN seeing for sure what my situation is, and what I want to do. Is this the way yall do it?

Whatever, overthinking it, gonna just contact a random clinic and pretend im gonna do it there. I was supposed to get it from my initial surgeon but the nigger genuinely ghosted me and is now on vacation. You'd think this is the easy part. I was trying to avoid all this bc last time at the ortho I told the receptionist I still wanna do it and he asked why. I said I'm "curious and just wanna make sure everything is in the right place" and he looked at me very suspiciously, paused for a couple seconds and told me he can't give out a referral jfl
