Lateral Orbital Rims?

What are these? I’ve seen loads of threads on them but I still can’t tell the difference between okay ones and excellent ones, and most people say they’re super important?

These are god tier ones?

I’ve seen people say Gandy’s are shit but they seem good to me

yeah it's great, but that require good cheekbones.

They are important but supraorbital > infraorbital > lateral orbital rims imo.

There was a great lookism post that explained this in detail but iirc you need to be strong in at least 2 of these 3 factors to have a good eye area. I will try to explain.

Here is lenny kravitz. He is weak in all 3 factors but particularly his lateral orbital rims. They are recessed and give the appearance of his eyes melting away at the sides.

Here is stephen james. He also has recessed LORs. His eyes look melted at the side but his eye area is good due to strong IORs and SORs.

Actor chris hemsworth and rugby player ed jenkins are examples of strong LORs. Strong LORs give the eyes a very shrouded and compact appearance.

LORs are important. But the least important of the three. Gandy has good LORs. His IORs are his weakest.
