maybe use your fucking brain and tape something to cover ur infras

can i use aquaphor or like vaseline
probably but to be safe i would just hold a spoon below it so that if any drips on it would hit the back of spoon
or js cut cardboard out and tape it

What exactly are you looking to achieve by upper eye lid fat atrophy? Usually people would want more fat there to correct a superior sulcus and achieve a more youthful and less hollow look. And no - you cannot precisely control what regions of orbital fat are affected by topical bimatoprost/lattise. Not hating - just confused.

i’m asian and have monolids due to excess skin/fat covering my double eyelid crease. And wdym i can’t control where it is affected? If i were to apply it on my upper eyelid and lashes only and put smt like aquaphor on all other parts, would that help?

The problem with latisse is that it diffuses through soft tissue, so even careful application cant guarantee predictable results. Its a matter of risk vs reward: latisse might give minor aesthetic improvements, but the chance of hollowing or uneven results is significant. Upper eyelid blepharoplasty, on the other hand, is the low-risk, high-reward option for your case.
