Lats are most important muscles for Frame, side delts are second

Thick wide lats push your arms out and make you naturally take up more space.

abs and obliques are slept on, they make your waist smaller so your shoulder to waist ratio will better

Spot burning fat doesnt exist therefore theres no real benefit to working abs in terms of frame. Abs also have no connection with your waist size lol.

Spot burning fat doesn't exist but just like every other muscle in your body, your abs are a muscle and get more defined and bigger if you work them out so yes theres defenitely a benefit in working them out lmao

I didnt say theres no benefit to working them out, i said they wont benefit your frame. Obviously abs are a proper trait in an ideal physique but well-developed abs wont directly give you a slim waist.

Got it - misunderstood you, I completely agree in that case. Hitting abs wont burn the fat around your abs to give you a smaller waist look lmao, in theory it would actually give you a blockier waste if you aren't lean since your muscles would pop more. Unless I'm just retarded

Yeah ig. I overexagerated on the wording ngl, you should ideally hit everything (apart from legs). But the real focus should be on shoulder/abs. Arms, back and chest they just naturally pop off over time if you simply stay consistent.

Edit: Ofc you dont just spam abs or ab exercises to get abs XD. The main focus should be on reducing your body fat if you want them to be visible. Ab training is still important it helps with hypertrophy but if you’re not lean enough, they simply won’t show (water).

For the average boyo, lats are hard to build and take huge ammounts of time to be noticeable. There's really no point in making it a priority specially if you are a teen. All you need as a teen is low body fat and definition thats it. Like this:
