If you look closely you can reasonably discern that they are having sex with promiscuous fat women.
More sexual partners does not necessarily equate to more sex.

And if you look at the chart organized by individual BMI number (below) it becomes obvious that the men at the low end of normal, the ones at 19, 20, 21, 22 BMI that are dragging down the average for the normal group, and it is the men at low end of overweight are getting a lot more partners than the men above that in BMI.
But all that is minor compared to the larger problem that the age ranges of the men participating in the study is too broad to be of any use. Men usually increase in BMI with age, it is quite possible a 50 year old man in the survey is now 33 BMI but was 23 BMI when younger, and that is when he had all his sexual partners. Facepalm at how crap this survey is.
