I'm thinking of doing PSMF diet to lose 10% bodyfat before summer

So basically I will eat 1000 calories of only protein for 2 weeks and after that 1000 calorie deficit for 6 weeks

Thoughts?

diets with too low of a calorie intake will actually slow your metabolism.

500 calorie deficit is optimal for long-term

That’s stupid, I was on a cut for 1500 calories for a month, it don’t work, should be minimum 1800 calories

Dieting never works in the long term. Prove me wrong
 
That’s terrible for you, eat low carbs but eat enough fiber and vegetables/fruits

1) Spam protein shakes as soon as you wake up, right after a workout, and to replace meals if you miss one.

2) Eat 2-3 times a day small meals. Mostly protein.

3) Eat all your carbs 1 hour before working out or running. You can't workout without carbs your performance will be shit.

4) Protein actually helps BURN fat when you spam it because it takes more energy to break it down than you actually get out of it, and then any extra goes to replace the broken down muscle. So your body will use fat storage counterintuitivly and you can even BUILD muscle by spamming protein because it signals IGF1 and MTOR growth pathways, responsible for muscle development, which recruits a lot of additional energy.

Basically spamming protein helps prevent muscle breakdown, signals to BUILD muscle which takes even more energy, thus helping you lose fat, and the strategic use of carb timing before a workout gives you the needed energy to still train.

I've lost a few pounds in one month of doing this. I run, and workout both 7 days a week.
