its a module all engineers need to take regardless of the discipline youre in, each engineer needs to know how each material behaves under countless conditions or at least be competent enough to figure it out

Here in the UK, it’s a separate degree. I’m not sure if you can get engineering roles with it here or if you need to do anything extra

im in the UK lol, you do material science in every engineering degree. im not studying material science by itself, im doing electrical engineering and inside of that, one of the 8-9 modules you do is material science

need all the prayers i can get, finally done with material science this year after this exam. got 84% last exam and it counts 50% to the final, this is the final 50. i should be good even if i get 50% tbh
