I try to stay positive the more you learn the easier it gets . My goal is to learn new words, new sentences as much as i can . There is no point for now to focus on the grammar before knowing at least 500-1000 words .

Most Germans speak English well too. In most cities I've heard you can get by with English no problem a country with a real language barrier is France. You have to learn French to get any jobs. People will refuse to talk to you in English even if they know it and there are 0 English speaking jobs in France

Never been there and Germany is obv the best languagewise. Both Austria and Switzerland have a funny accent but you make hella money there. You live really good at the border if you buy groceries in Germany but live in Switzerland

yeah that's true french people are assholes even tho you start learning english at 6years old most don't speak it it

i love when foids speak english with a french accent.

french is also fairly hard to learn especially for brits

I don't even understand any other dialect than HochDeutsch. And those border livers are called Grenzgänger iirc and they end up paying higher taxes. Something to do pay CH having some flat tax or something i don't know the specifics

with hoch deutsch you will be understood in most places. You just might not understand them

Tbh. German wages are very depressing. Even UK mogs germany in terms of wages. Most jobs top out at 60k euros and half of it gets raped by taxes.
