Needs to be pretty urban with good career opportunities in finance or tech
Cant be extremely expensive but I'm open I guess

If you're want opportunities then you definitely want to live in a red state. Houston Texas is pretty good I believe.

Jefferson City Missouri has low rent and lots of job opportunities with high pay. Not a huge city but definitely not country either. Crime isn't bad. Check out north Carolina as well. There's gotta be some decent cities in North Carolina.

I believe SLC (Salt Lake City) Utah is another good one.
