He gave me two options Lefort 1 or Bimax.

He is not Blackpilled so there would be a chance he will reduce my lower Jaw or smt.. What would you choose in my case ? (The Pictures are fucking Ugly ik)

You need double jaw (upper advancement and lower setback) because otherwise you would look dogmaxxed

Are you sure? His lower jaw does not look prognathic to me at least.

Yes it does. If anything the upper jaw doesn't look recessed.
A Bimax (Free) would still improve my Overall Harmony, right? Idc about the healing time and stuff like that

I don't think he should mandible setback even if he does maxillary advancement as it causes issues with genioglossus and some other myofunctional issues and could potentially affect the airway too

Sometimes function is far more important than aesthetics @Denkaren

Also ideally he should have posted his photos in the Frankfurt Horizontal Plane since his head is titled up making his lower jaw look more prognathic

Some anecdotal evidence from Reddit

If airway is a concern he can do a subapical osteotomy

No it don’t it’s just his head position making it look like that
Nah. His nasolabial angle is ideal, even at smile. Advance 10mm and he would look totally dogmaxxed

He’s not gunna advance 10mm is he
To fix the bite with a lefort it would be around 10
Even if I'm wrong and it would be 6-8 it's still overadvancement

Tough choice to make. I think Geenk Worg is correct. I don't know if your surgeon will be able to pull it off, but it's the right attitude. It's the blackpilled thing to do.

I've seen 1cm cases, they look veery veery far from this dude. 6-8 advancement is actually quite common, r/jawsurgery is full of them, most of the results look very natural.
