Lefort 2 candidate

I was originally thinking about proceeding with a high Le Fort I, and then, if I still needed more midface projection afterward, potentially getting midface implants. However, I’ve since been told that I may actually be a candidate for a Le Fort II. I initially dismissed the idea because I assumed it would be extremely difficult to find a qualified surgeon willing to perform it.


But now I’m wondering: if I were to find a highly experienced craniofacial surgeon who genuinely believed I was an appropriate Le Fort II candidate, would it be worth seriously considering instead of doing a high Le Fort I and potentially needing implants afterward?


do I actually need a Le Fort II based on my anatomy, or could the same deficiencies reasonably be addressed with a high Le Fort I and/or implants? I don’t want to pursue a more invasive procedure simply because it’s theoretically possible. I want to understand which procedure actually matches the skeletal deficiency I’m trying to correct.

Stop giving him shit advice he’s cooked unless he gets a lefort 2/3. Give it to him straight
