By what means is it easy? Its probably one of the only surgeries that actually has a risk of death and involves over 100 days of lengthening in most cases where you have to be in a foreign country taking daily pt sessions and actively working on improving mobility. On top of this full recovery can only really be expected after years of ossification, and it could take several months just to walk normally.
