it wouldn’t be assault and battery but simple battery; its a 1st degree misdemeanor, punishable by up to a year in jail and up to a year’s probation depending on circumstances

but i doubt they would go to court over it because they would have to track you down and they aren’t gonna do too much investigative work over simple battery
