Legally changing name. Has anyone done it?

Thinking of changing my first and last name for a more exotic halo. Not something too extreme but I also want to disassociate myself from my trashy criminal family, was thinking of adopting my maternal grandmothers surname which is Ukrainian with Polish origins, which sounds better and looks more appealing than my weird German surname. (most German names sound ogreish tbh)

None are really halo but old fashioned names and rural names are seen as cringe and redneck.

A few names are considered thug and hooligan names.


Giving people anglo american names is also a trend but its considered trashy,like in Polish Jessica is Dzesika but its a name that could get you bullied.
