I hate the whole "slagging banter" culture that's inherent to the Isles
I was friends with a guy for all of my school life by virtue of proximity but when another guy came into our group who was just as brash and needing of dominance as he was, when they weren't clashing with each other they began amusing themselves by inventing hypothetical stories relating to my personal life just for the purpose of trying to trigger a reaction from me
The guy also showed unhideable despair when he once asked me how x venture in my life was going and I told him it was successful
The video makes the point about how these people never want the best for you and all they talk about is other people, never concepts
Having a mate who talks about concepts and wants the best for you is a major bonus, it's better to have one of those and no other friends than 10 energy vampire friends.
At any PSLer meetup I've been to, the idea of digging at someone or trying to slag someone off would seem giga pointless because we are open about our own failings and get more amusement out of such admissions than trying to point out something about someone else
Yet every single normie male group I've been a part of has been entirely focused around slagging each other as sustaining the social fabric
Also giga legit point at 8:00 about how people behave depending on where they are in relations to others in hierarchy
