let's make it cool again to treat people the same regardless of their social class or physical appearance

let's make it cool to speak softly and gently, to avoid intimidating women and children

let's make it cool again to learn about interesting topics

let's make it cool again to be a good neighbor and a helpful member of the community

Finally, a wise person

humans by nature have some animalistic desires like ego and dominance

you're not defined by whether you have them or not, we all have them

you are defined by how you act in the presence of them

that is how a true gentleman behaves

Being a gentleman was a class flex in the 19th century when being polite was a sign of good breeding. Now being polite doesn’t carry those same connotations in a time of universal education and technology.

trends come and go

people being loud, being crass, being aloof - those are trends that are cool for a few years, then becomes sour after that

treating other people right is timeless and never goes out of style

Yeah, thats where this all comes from. It harkens back to a time when politeness was a flex. It wasn’t some nice egalitarian thing. It was showing off your education and how low cortisol and well socialized your rich lifestyle was.

being a gentleman also existed in following chivalry, sunnah, bushido

take Andrew Tate for example

he was cool and hip in 2022, he was new and flashy

saying the thing people were afraid to say

his brash demeanor was exciting

but in 2026? his angry berating style is played out

he's just a permanently angry guy

but a guy who treats others right? that never goes out of style

if Women become virgins again and learn respect they had before feminism then maybe its worth learning to be a gentleman again

And all of that was about signaling status in an archaic society. It was never about being a good person who is fair to everyone. It’s about posturing.

ok that may be true but lets be honest

someone who does what he wants and doesnt lie and pretend just to please others

or

a polite "gentleman" who acts all nice and kind to others just to hope to "never go out of style" and be thought of positively by other normies who dont give a fuck about anyone else other than themselves

of course, if the guy is polite because he genuinely does it from the bottom of his heart, then good on him, thats a good lad

You need to raise the pre-WWII generations from the dead to bring those values back, unfortunately. But, even if you could, once they get used to today's technology, they'll eventually morph into dipshits, like everyone else alive today.

And unless there are more quality women there is zero point in being a gentleman. Chivalry is dead and women killed it

you're referring to night club women, instagram women, and sorority house women

But there are others you're less exposed to

Shining stars no matter where they are
