History is not a black and white thing with cartoon villains and good guys. Hitler came to power trough legal means and the shaky climate of collapsing German society, economics and politics with booming sentiment of revanchism and antisemtism. He also looked up to American eugenics program and racial segregational laws and implemented it in Germany against Jews, so was Roosevelt a bad guy? America had concentration camps in WW2 after all too and was settled on bones of millions of genocided natives of course. Should we stop using American products? I know public education is shit and history which is today bastardized does not interest many people but in general there needs to be a consensus where history shouldn't be looked trough the mind of a 3rd grader.
