So what if they do? This has nothing to do with those rich folks. This is about creeps needing retirement. I imagine a few of them beg someone to stop them. They beg, "Please! Get me out of this!" The only way that could happen is if the company goes bankrupt. But I have a feeling, before that happens, some shady rich parasite will buy them out and make it "supposedly" private.
