Ptosis surgery would probably be synonymous with canthoplasty but in layman's terms, ptosis is just a condition where your eyelids sag down more than they should which canthoplasty addresses.

Success rate of canthoplasty is about 70 percent. If your nct is brutal tier then cantho can make it look better but will not completely fix it, it can ascend your eye area ranging from ‘it looks way better’ to ‘looks perfect’. So in the end it will ascend you. As for the long term complications, I don’t know about it.

cantho isnt only for nct. it can be both lateral and medial. it can both extend the eye, and change tilt.

i dont think thats how it works. ptosis changes pfh, while cantho changes pfl.
