Let's test .org users' iq for real. Solve those

I did 1 and 3 exceptionally easy was the 3 one. Really easy . If s knows about shape the since he is silent square is eliminated. Since colin is silent yellow circle si eliminated assuming red circle must be the answee but since shape was known by s hence colin knows he did not answered it so red circle eliminated hence know now u can simply use ur brain to know why they both blurted out at same time cause others options get easily eliminated and the option is red triangle

you must go to some top college. top college don't accept midwits, the selection process is made so there are many applicants therefore you have a good approximation of the distribution of iq and then only the best ones get accepted
this unfortunately isn't true. i went to a top 10 school in my field and while yes, there are smart people, the vast majority are probably in that 110-120 range.

also courses are structured in a way to encourage wage slaving - at least in stem majors undergrad. the best cs professor in my school made it impossible to do his assignments unless u attended the weekly discussion sections and lectures - in which he would literally hand out step by step tutorials for the assignments. so basically all the normies just had to be regular to class to get As/Bs.

tbh im very low on conscientiousness probably so that didn't help me either, but no i don't think even the top colleges are structured for high iq students. maybe harvard, stanford etc. but the odds of getting in there without crazy co-curriculars is 0.

american college is too easy. you should have been born in italy, the top colleges are crazy hard here, there is a high degree of variance because every little error costs you 1 point and the acceptable scores go from 18 to 30, so the best ones are always rewarded. and yes this includes attending the lessons and taking notes. we had very few projects anyway, you had to take a perfect exam to score 30.

lmao but american colleges look much better on resume still, which is the whole point of going to college imo.

yeah i think most of the old world does it similarly - they're more testing based unlike the americans who love giving monotonous fucking assignments.

1- The surprise must be under C2.
My Explanation:
Suppose the surprise is under a blue square in the first row, and let's say it's under the square in column 1 (i.e., A1). Rowan knows that it's not in the second or third column since if it were, Colleen would know where it is, and she doesn't. But if it were in the first column, then Colleen would know it's in A1, which contradicts her initial statement. Thus, the surprise cannot be in the first row. Similarly, suppose the surprise is in the second row, but not in C2. Then Rowan would know it's not in the second row, but Colleen would still not know the location of the surprise. But Colleen has just said that she knows where it is, which contradicts this scenario. Thus, the surprise must be in C2.
Follow up:
a) Yes, the conversation could still have proceeded as before. The statements made by Rowan and Colleen would still hold true regardless of whether or not the box was already opened.
b) Neither of them would be surprised to see it empty since they were not given any information about whether or not the box already contained the surprise.
c) If the box was already opened and found to be empty before the conversation, then Rowan and Colleen could have eliminated it from consideration when making their statements. This would change the possible locations of the surprise and could lead to a different conclusion about its location.
d) Before the box was opened, Rowan knew that the surprise was not in the second or third column. However, if the box in the first column was already opened and found to be empty, then it would no longer be true that the surprise is not in the second column. Thus, adding the information that B1 is empty would make Rowan's statement false.

2- gift must be in the large black box.
My Explanation:
Suppose the gift is in a red box. Caroline knows it's not in the small red box since she would know the colour of the box containing the gift in that case. Similarly, she knows it's not in the medium red box since Susan would know the size of the box containing the gift in that case. But if the gift were in the large red box, then Susan would know the size of the box containing the gift, which contradicts her initial statement. Thus, the gift cannot be in a red box. Now suppose the gift is in a blue box. Then Caroline knows it's not in the small blue box, but Susan would still not know the size of the box containing the gift. However, if the gift were in the large blue box, then Susan would know the size of the box containing the gift, which again contradicts her initial statement. Thus, the gift must be in the large black box.
Follow up:
After the conversation, Susan also knows that the gift is in the large black box. Caroline came to this knowledge first.

3- The surprise must be under the green square.
My Explanation:
Suppose the surprise is under a blue or red tile. If it were under a blue tile, then Colin would know the location since he knows the color of the tile containing the surprise. Similarly, if the surprise were under a red tile, then Sheila would know the location since she knows the shape of the tile containing the surprise. However, since they both remained silent at the first question, it means that neither of them knows where the surprise is, and so the surprise cannot be under a blue or red tile. Thus, the surprise must be under the green tile.
Follow up:
a) Yes, both of them expected the first silence since they knew that they did not

I was formerly math Olympiad btw

1)
A2
Reasoning:
I don’t know where the surprise is
It's not in row 3 because there is only one blue tile in row 3
but I also know that Colleen doesn’t know.
It's not in row 4 because row 4 is the only row with a blue tile in a column that only has one blue tile.
Column A is now the only column left with one blue tile (2A)
b) Were either of them surprised to see it empty?
Rowan was not. Colleen was.
a) Could the conversation have proceeded as before?
c) How can it have changed the conversation, if they both knew it already.
d) How can it be that adding information, that B1 is empty, makes Rowan’s statement become false?
Answering these three parts with the same statement. After Rowan says "I don’t know where the surprise is" Rowan can't be sure that colleen doesn't know where it is because Rowan knows that Colleen knows it isn't in row 3.

I'll do question 2 probably never

Honestly u don't need the dialogue, just imagine both sitting in silence gradually cancelling out options based on the others not answering yet.

First u cancel black box since color foid would know. Then color foid should know it's the size which there's 2 of otherwise size foid would know.

based onf first statement b or d
based on 2nd if it was b/dx1/2 they still cant know so it must be the only left d4
IF B1 open its change alot it seem impossible to have this conversation as it would remove b for the row guy and now d is alone and for example if it was d1 column guy could know so he cant say column guy doesnt know im too tired to say more maybe im wrong idk but was a fun mind experiment
